Destroyit 2503SC strip cut shredder is ideal for organizations that have to shred large amounts of material regularly. Its features includes electronic photo cell, automatic start and stop, multi-directional casters for mobility.
They have high quality hardened steel cutting shafts which can take staples, paper clips, credit cards, junkmail, and CDs/DVDs. High capacity shred volume of 2503 Destroyit allows it to breeze through sheets at 24 feet per minute to produce security P-2 shredding.
With a feed opening 10-1/4″ wide, the space is roomy enough for many different types of papers to go through. Its quiet, single phase motor has durable gears neatly inside a dust-proof enclosure inside the cabinet. The cabinet is made of high quality wood and set on casters for convenience and accessibility. It houses a pull-out bag frame that can hold up to 20 gallons of shred volume in its disposable bags.
Safety protection system package: electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening; easy switch control element uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status; automatic reverse and power cut-off (avoids paper jams); automatic power cut-off when shred bag is full or when cabinet door is opened; double protection against overheating; energy saving mode after 30 mins of inactivity.
